Friends of Craigholme
There are two Book Clubs available in the Upper Junior School - one for J7 and one for J6.
Both clubs aim to read three or four books a year and on finishing each book the club has a little party where the pupils discuss what they enjoyed and what they didn't, whilst drinking juice and eating biscuits.
The pupils develop their skills of discussing their thoughts about a text, using examples to back them up. Pupils also foster their love of books and reading too.
