Thank you for considering making a gift towards The Craigholme Foundation. You might decide to contribute in different ways. The most popular are:
Alternatively you can support the Foundation by the direct transfer of assets such as stocks, shares, property and works of art or by making provisions for a bequest in your will. These types of gifts will not incur capital gains or inheritance tax.
TAX BENEFITS FOR ALL TAXPAYERS
The Craigholme Foundation is recognised by the OSCR as a charity (SCO 04118) and it can therefore reclaim tax on all donations made by UK taxpayers. This means that by donating through Gift Aid you can increase the value of your gift by a quarter at no additional cost to you. For example, for every £100 you donate the Foundation will receive an extra £25 from the Inland Revenue.
Higher rate taxpayers can reclaim the balance between higher and basic rates for themselves, further reducing the cost of their gifts.
Companies can claim corporation tax relief on all donations to charities.
