Politics and Citizenship Society

The Politics and Citizen Society is open to pupils in S1-S6 and meets weekly at lunchtime.
 
Every year the group organises a school mock election in which several pupils in S3-S6 stand as candidates, representing each of the political parties. In the run up to the election the candidates design marketing material to advertise their party and its agenda, within the school, encouraging other pupils to vote for them. On the morning of the election a school hustings is held and candidates deliver speeches to the whole school.
 
PACS also sponsors a Senegalese child through Worldvision - Sounkarou Camara and host events throughout the year to raise funds for her.
