Former Pupil Burns Supper

Craigholme hosted its second Former Pupil Burns Supper in the school hall last month, during which the Former Pupil Club was re-launched.

Former pupils from 1961-2006 and some former staff members enjoyed the evening’s entertainment which included performances by current pupils and staff. Guests also enjoyed a traditional Burns Supper meal, courtesy of Debbie Dalrymple of Food for All Occasions.

The Former Pupil Club, Friends of Craigholme, was officially launched on the night. The club, is headed up by Lorna Howie (Class of 1981), who will act as President. All former pupils automatically part of Friends of Craigholme as well as former staff and former parents too. The aim of the club is to build on its rapport with the former pupil community through events such as reunions and sporting activities.

Lorna Howie said, “I’m delighted to be the first President of Friends of Craigholme and look forward to engaging with many former pupils in the near future.”
