Equestrian Extravaganza

The Scottish Schools’ Equestrian Extravaganza was held last weekend at Ingliston Equestrian Centre, with teams from all over Scotland competing.

Evie Stickland (S5) led a team of Craigholme pupils from both the Junior and the Senior School, as they competed in the showjumping, dressage and team events.

Mhairi Craig (J7) led her horse Fairly Versace in the Attack and Turn Out and they were awarded first place. Mhairi also came second in the Intermediate Showjumping event, with Ella Gilchrist (S4) coming second in Dressage and her sister Hannah (S1) being awarded fifth place in this event.

As always, this was a great day out at Ingliston and the team of pupils had a wonderful time competing against their peers. There was a chance for the girls to compete as a team, as well as individually, and Equestrian Captain Evie Stickland led the girls superbly.
